From bookbinding
to mechanical engineering
In 1990 the prototype for the first automatic delivery was created – originally for the own use of the then Palamides bookbindery. Understanding the needs of postpress processing launched our automated deliveries. Since then, our machines have set standards in ergonomics, efficiency and quality. In doing so, we work closely with our customers: Our machines can be adapted to customer-specific requirements and special solutions offer all producers the opportunity to make their production more efficient than ever before.
What started out as a tinkering project soon turned into a professional mechanical engineering company, which became internationally successful fast. In 2005, the international success finally resulted in the company's own subsidiary in the USA. Originally founded as a service point, palamides USA quickly established itself as a service and sales partner for the whole of the USA. Today, palamides USA supplies machines, system solutions, service, parts and materials.
